The Final Cut was the last album in which Roger waters was a part of the band. The Album is really a personal project for him, as he controlled the entire album. It is dedicated to Water's own father who lost his life in World War 2. The album is an Anti-war concept. Musically the album does not feature the typical Pink Floyd sound. It has been ranked near the bottom of favorite Pink Floyd albums, but to me It is probably in my top ten.
